We collect and process: your email address; your password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text); your Terms and Privacy Policy acceptance timestamp and version; authentication and security logs such as login events and IP address; the content you enter into the app (meals, ingredients, meal plans, nutrition targets, logged items and barcodes); and technical information such as device type, app version and error logs.
We also store your subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment card details — payments are processed by Apple.
To create and manage your account; to provide calorie tracking, meal planning and nutrition summaries; to verify your email and process password resets; to secure the service and prevent abuse; to provide and manage your subscription; and to comply with legal obligations.
We process your data based on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, our legal obligations, and your consent where applicable.
Your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is processed and stored in the United States. If you are located in the European Union, this means your data is transferred outside the EU; such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Cloud hosting and infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS), United States. Transactional email delivery (verification and password-reset messages): a third-party email delivery provider. These providers process data only on our behalf.
Jazmin Pro subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple. Apple processes your payment; we do not receive or store your payment details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple in order to grant access.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data, except where we are legally required to retain certain information.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete account.
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including password hashing, access controls and encrypted (HTTPS) communication.
Jazmin is not intended for children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
